Veterans Communication Services, Inc. is a data, voice and fiber cabling company. Our specialty is cabling for high speed networking of communication medias. In most instances, VetComm will cutover an existing system to upgraded higher technological equipment thus making information available instantaneously.

We link various sites, systems, buildings, hubs, etc. together via fiber and outside plant cable which we also have the capabilities of placing, splicing, terminating and testing. This includes trenching and putting in new conduit systems.

Executive Summary

Veterans Communication Services, Inc. (VetComm) has considerable experience in working with government and prime contractors. VetComm was established in 1997 to primarily provide infrastructure-cabling services. Expanded portfolio includes: network design, installation, engineering, as well as maintenance services of simple to complex CCTV systems, Public Address, PBX/VoIP, Wireless, and C10 Electrical systems. These services are provided to small to large enterprise-sized companies throughout the United States, as well as all government entities at the city, county, state, and federal levels.  VetComm applies a unique approach and demonstrates experience from both an installation and maintenance perspective. VetComm’s strategy and core competency is to provide and manage multi-disciplined field technicians to install infrastructure cabling services, as well as, equipment integration services. Our technicians understand dial tone, wireless, CCTV and IP technologies. We start from the physical layer and work our way up to the application layer to integrate complex systems that traffic traverses over our installed media and systems. The scope of work is simply physical onsite installation work that augments higher-level engineering efforts. In addition, VetComm has the relationships and resources to leverage and collaborate on designing highly technical network solutions.

Efforts to identify and manage program risk: VetComm is a leader in Quality and Workmanship. All Vetcomm employees are certified and trained in their specialties. As a BICSI corporate member with RCDD’s on staff, VetComm delivers the highest level of expertise that adheres to all BICSI and EIA/TIA standards, OSHA requirements, NEC and NFPA 70 codes, or any Local Authority Having Jurisdiction (LAHJ). This in-house technical support expertise is applied to all Inside and Outside plant projects, to also include but not limited to substructure systems for any design requirements.

Web Portal: VetComm has implemented a CRM platform to allow clients to submit work request via a Web-Based GUI interface platform. This allows clients to stream-line processes and track and manage all orders for projects and MAC work they submit with real-time updates for tracking. Clients have the ability to check status for order progress, scheduling, tech notes, site surveys, and action plans, etc. As a nation-wide vendor, VetComm continues to add to our database unlimited resources and partners for a diverse support across the United States in CONUS and OCONUS, and more recently International services.

  • Complete design/build and Engineering for Life Guard Telephone System (LTS) for California Beaches and State Parks. VetComm fully designed a VoIP ring-down System that is connected through a wireless network designed by VetComm. All lifeguard towers are equipped with Solar Panels and energy management system for the ease of deployment across widely spread lifeguard towers. VetComm worked with many manufactures to allow multiple systems to integrate with each other.
  • Design/Build of 350+WLAN Aruba Access Points with WIDS integration for the Department of Interior in DC using Airwave, and Clearpass.
  • Provide LTE installation services for data access in remote locations for Military Nation-wide
  • Perform FULL Modernization of ALL OSP and ISP for US Army Reserve bases including but not limited to: WLAN, Outside Plant construction (trenching, boring, copper and fiber backbone, Man-hole placement, etc.), Structured cabling for all buildings, HVAC requirements, Anti-static floors, Electrical upgrades, Grounding and Bonding, and Cisco VoIP deployment. All work done on a national level in CONUS regions under the USARC Army IT manual, and I3A standards.
  • Successful deployment of VoIP paging system for 3 large Omnitrans facilities including corporate HQ
  • Successful completion of 350+ cameras for the Chaffey Joint Union School District throughout (13) schools with new VRM and centralized storage array with local backup
  • Extensive experience working with State Parks, and Law-enforcement agencies in support of Wireless Systems, CCTV and other telecommunications services
  • Extensive experience performing similar and larger projects for other high-profile clients such as: the City of Rialto, US Army, California State Parks, Department of the Interior, etc.
  • Professional experience working in high-risk environments such as: Historical Buildings, Municipal and Government Facilities, Medical Facilities and Hospitals, State Developmental Centers, Large School Campus’s and Districts, Military Bases, etc.
  • Design/Engineering/Installation of elaborate Bogen PCM 2000 for the US Navy and Marines
  • Provided successful engineering and installation services of strategic Ethernet extensions over copper and fiber in over 40+ Navy/MWR bases in CONUS, and OCONUS regions in the US, including Japan.
  • VetComm has implemented a webportal allowing clients to track all projects and work orders in real-time for latest updates on scheduling and progress for all work performed to help clients streamline processes
  • Provide nation-wide MAC support, and circuit extensions for the following high-profile clientele: Verizon, AT&T, Century Link, ICE, TSA, CBP, US Postal Service, USACE, USARNG, USARC, Navy/MWR, etc.
