Campanile Dr.
San Diego, CA 92182-1616
The first project was for the installation of a conduit/manhole system for the installation of a new Outside Plant copper cable and relocation of existing fiber so they could have trolley services on campus. Since that project VetComm. has been doing work under our CMAS contract for Data and voice installation at several new buildings such as the 4 complexes on Fraternity Row. VetComm. has built a new conduit/manhole system from some of the dorms to the mainframe for updating services for the students.
Fairview Developmental Center
2501
Harbor Blvd.
Costa Mesa, CA 92626
Under our CMAS contract we have been doing Moves, Adds and Changes, plus fiber and data installations since 1997 to present. Currently VetComm. has been upgrading most of the facilities to access the internet for reports to and from the state departments. This has included installing new conduits and man/hand holes for the installation of copper and fiber backbone with laterals feeding the individual buildings. We have been responsible for terminating the respective cable at the point of entry and placing riser cables to the communication closets on each floor. From those closets we have place copper (voice) and Category 5 (data) to the desktop. In many instances we have had to obtain records from Verizon, map the outlay of cable paths, clear all routes, install the cable, upgrade the current records and present hard and soft copies of the information to their IT Service department.
Cedars-Sinai Medical Center
8700
Beverly Blvd.
Los Angeles, CA 90048
VetComm. was responsible for day-to-day activities, which included moves, adds and changes. Various projects, included installation and cutover of fiber, voice, and Category 5 cable and the programming of computers. Just by the nature of this facility special precautions had to be taken with ever installation. The fact that Cedars hired six of our technicians shows the quality of personnel we have.
Southern California Edison
P.O.
Box 700
Rosemead, CA
Rewired G. O. 1, Rosemead, CA, (1500 stations). Each station consisted of 3 data and 1 voice cable. VetComm. had to place fiber from the Demarc point to 23 different communication closets located throughout the 4 stories. All of the data was cut over from an old Token Ring system to the new Ethernet. Because the cuts included such departments as Human Resources and Payroll plus the executive officers most had to be done in off hours and weekends with a minimum of interruption.
